Salted Caramel Affogato Shake
Inspired by the Italian coffee-based dessert consisting of a scoop of vanilla gelato ‘drowned’ in hot espresso, this shake adds salted caramel to the mix for a flavoursome ice-cold treat.

Ingredients
- 75g Sugar
- 200ml Kerrymaid Double
- 1 Generous pinch salt
- 240ml Angelito Ice Cream Mix
- 2 Double espresso shots
- 240g Ice
- Kerrymaid Whipping, to garnish
Method
Heat sugar in a pan until it becomes a dark caramel. Add Kerrymaid Double and heat until all dissolved. Add salt and check seasoning. Set aside.
Add Angelito Ice Cream Mix, espresso and ice to blender and blend until smooth.
Add 2tbsp of sauce to the bottom of each glass and top with shake, pouring aggressively to get the appropriate marbling.
Top with whipped Kerrymaid Whipping and a drizzle of the remaining sauce.
