This year’s LACA event was a huge success and was a jam-packed full 3 days at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
Kerrymaid were situated in the York Room and we saw a great turnout! There were a number of delegates from different schools, councils and associations who all stopped by our stand for a chat.
We were very excited to launch the brand new Kerrymaid Collection with our Education Ambassador with Jeanette Orrey. The collection is packed full of useful insight and tasty recipes from Jeanette as well as some guest chefs, including Katherine Beckon, Tony Mulgrew, Sam Ward and Joanne Wotton.
We ran two successful demonstrations on the Thursday with Jeanette and our Kerrymaid Innovation Chef, Richard Troman. Those visiting were able to taste some of the fantastic recipes from the Kerrymaid Collection including chicken korma, cheese and tomato turnovers, rhubarb muffins and delicious cheese and fruit scones. The audience were very impressed with the samples and it was great to see them engage with Jeanette and Richard during and after the demos, where they were able to ask questions and enjoy a chat.
Contributors to the Kerrymaid Collection Katherine Beckon and Tony Mulgrew attended the demos and were there to support the launch of the Kerrymaid collection.
We had such a great time at LACA this year and are already looking forward to the next one!
